okay, i had this little clear plastic box that i would put all of the fleas that i found on my dog in because it was hilarious to watch them bounce around and not go anywhere. then i taped the top so that the sticky part was facing the inside of the box, and every time a flew landed on the tape it would be stuck. 

i just found that box after three years. it’s dusty and gross and there are about twenty dead fleas inside of it. and a penny. i don’t know why the penny is in there, but it is. 

i was fourteen. what was i thinking.
